I Wish I Did This as a High School Baseball Player

I started lifting weights for the first time my freshman year of high school. At that time, baseball players did not lift heavy weights. It was all about lighter weight and higher reps.

There was a fear of getting "too strong" or losing flexibility. If you were a pitcher like me, it was even more conservative!

Like most kids, I thought this was the right approach because that's what my coaches told me. As a result, I didn't reap the rewards of early strength development like the kids that focused on major compound lifts with a progression in weight did.

I believe this early stage of strength development is extremely important for young players to take advantage of. That is why I have developed a 16-week strength and conditioning programming for young athletes.

This program focuses on nailing the basics of movement quality and starting your lifting journey. At this point in your career you don't need "baseball specific" exercises. What you need is to learn how to move well and learn the basic lifts that will set you up for success years down the road.

In this program you will learn how to:

  • Hinge and squat properly

  • Add weight to the bar every week

  • Properly warmup and prepare your body for each lift

  • Build a foundation that will prepare you for more advanced lifting

  • Maximize your nutrition

If you are a novice lifter, coach a high school or college team, or are the parent of a player; this is the program for you!

This program is set to release September 2nd. I want to offer a 20% discount to our loyal subscribers.
